With
the boat line 82, coming from the Canal Grande, you can get off
at San Marco boat stop. Crossing a bridge on your right you con
arrive at the Molo, Piazzetta San Marco and Piazza san Marco, where
you can visit the Basilicata and Palazzo Ducale. From the Torre
dell'Orologio you can continue through the Mercerie, reach the Church
of San Zulian (inside paintings by Palma il Giovane and Paolo Veronese)
and arrive until the Bareteri bridge. Returning to the Piazza it
is possible to visit the Museo Corre placed on the opposite side
of the Basilicata, then keep going to Campo San Moisè with
is important church. In your way back, before Piazza San Marco,
you have on your left the Frezzeria and, turning on the right it
is possible arrive to the Bacino Orseolo. Following the short fondamenta
you can get to Campo San Luca and through Calle dei Fuseri, turning
right into a small calle you can reach the Scala del Bovolo belonging
to Palazzo Contarini. Next to it Campo Manin and, on the back of
the Cassa di Risparmio bank, Campo San Luca. From here take Calle
del Teatro, pass by the Goldoni Theatre, and turn left where Calle
Bembo leads you to the Riva del Carbon on the Canal Grande. Following
the Riva you can arrive to the 1 or 82 lines waterbus stops. If
you have more time at disposal visit Campo San Bortolomio with in
the middle the Carlo Goldoni statue. Next to it the famous Rialto
bridge. Before the Rialto bridge on the left, a small calle leads
again to the waterbus stops in Riva del Carbon where you can go
back to San Marco or to the Santa Lucia Railway Station and Piazzale
Roma.
